Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement integration with Teams

Pandemic caused a major shift to working from home for businesses and usage of the tools that facilitated that increased significantly; among those tools was Microsoft Teams. With Teams capabilities, employees can complete most of their work within Teams in some cases.
Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is also integrated with Teams. That translates to higher productivity and efficiency for businesses.

At the time of writing this post, this feature is not available for on-premises.

Dynamics 365 Sales mobile app in pre-release as of Feb 12, 2021

The app is designed and targeted for supporting sales scenarios such as:

  • Plan your day
  • Do post-meeting work
  • Find required information and act accordingly
It runs on iOS and Android.

Training with Dynamic 365 Guide and HoloLens

The current approach of using video calling for giving instructions and training technicians leaves a lot to be desired. You can perhaps explain the procedure, but student won't be able to practice in an interactive and immersive environment. That is what video conferencing lacks compared to tradition hands-on classes and workshops. To bridge this gap the School of Nursing at the University of Michigan is using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guide with HoloLens.
